SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (June 21, 2013) – POET-DSM Advanced Biofuels and its parent companies, POET and DSM, all have been named big winners in the 2013 Biofuels Digest “The Hottest Partners in Biofuels and Bio-Based Products” poll. The magazine annually surveys subscribers around the globe at more than 25,000 organizations involved in the development and production of bio-fuels to recognize the industry’s hottest supply-chain partners.
“We’re honored to be recognized by our peers in this competitive, emerging industry, where speed-to-market and rapid, relentless innovation are the entry fee to play in this space,” said Steve Hartig, General Manager responsible for Licensing for POET-DSM Advanced Biofuels. “We’ve worked hard to focus on the development of the most advanced processes and technologies that will provide the highest yields. Our turnkey solutions will offer customers a one-stop shop approach to ensure the installation of a cellulosic ethanol plant is both successful and profitable.”
In the poll, POET-DSM Advanced Biofuels captured two categories: Pre-treatment Systems and Processing Systems and Services, while it captured second place in Engineering, Procurement & Construction Services. POET Biomass, which is part of the POET organization, was runner-up in Feedstocks (gases & residues). Joint venture partner DSM was runner-up in the Enzymes, Yeasts & Sugars category.
The 2013 Hottest Partners poll is Biofuels Digest’s second in as many years.
