Bioethanol
An American-made, plant-based fuel that reduces dependence on oil and supports healthy grain markets across the corn belt

Producers who want the highest quality in high-protein feed use POET Corn Fermented Protein (CFP). CFP is a next-generation protein ingredient derived from the dry-mill bioethanol production process. As a 50 percent protein product, CFP is highly digestible and has excellent energy values, delivering key nutrients ideal for a variety of pet food, aquaculture, swine, poultry, beef, and dairy feed applications.
Our consistent product quality offers a great amino acid profile, providing a good source of lysine and methionine. We utilize a patented process tested in operation for more than five years, and corn fermented protein is a cost-competitive alternative to other high-protein ingredients.
POET Corn Fermented Protein is FSSC 22000 certified as a food-safe product at our POET Bioprocessing – Shell Rock and POET Bioprocessing – Fairmont locations.

We didn't invent DDGS—but we did put them on the map.
No one has more experience developing a premier dried distillers grain than POET. For nearly four decades, ongoing research and development has kept POET as the industry leader for quality and consistency.
POET Dried Distillers Grains provide uniform particle size and flowability to maximize performance and utilization. Our distillers grains are recognized as a highly palatable, digestible, safe, and cost- effective feed for a wide variety of animals.

Our wet distillers grains feature uniform particle size, high palatability, and high nutrient value proven to maximize feed utilization and performance. This valuable feed source is also often lower in cost than traditional distillers grains and an excellent solution for ruminant operations within truck delivery areas.

POET Modified Distillers Grains offer a pound-for-pound balance in benefits for both dry and wet products.
Our modified distillers grains contain about 48% dry matter and are an ideal way to provide a well-rounded nutritional base while reducing your feed costs. Less drying time means more moisture to lock in layers of nutrients and help rations stick together, creating a cake-like texture.

POET Corn Condensed Distillers Solubles, traditionally referred to as “syrup,” is a safe, economical liquid feed ingredient source known for quality and consistency. Like our other products, it is produced as a result of our bioethanol production process.
In addition to excellent nutritional qualities, syrup is a highly palatable, economical liquid feed ingredient predominantly used in ruminant diets. Commonly mixed in the total mixed ration (TMR) or blended with low-quality forages, it provides a unique blend of highly digestible protein, energy, and key minerals. This highly attractive liquid feed ingredient pays dividends in animal performance and ration cost.

For easy handling, reduced waste, and all the quality you can count on from a POET feed product, look no further than POET Pellets and Cubes.
POET Pellets and Cubes are an alternative form of our classic dried distillers grains, where we take the traditional loose form of our distillers grains and press them into a pellet or cube form. This process ensures uniform size, decreased shrinkage, and superior handling with better flowability, all while increasing feed efficiency. We offer two sizes to meet your needs: ¼” pellets and ¾” cubes.
Our pellets and cubes are produced at POET Bioprocessing – Mitchell in South Dakota, right in the heart of cattle country. However, as with our other feed options, we have a number of options to reach you locally, throughout the U.S., or even across the globe.

POET Distillers Corn Oil (DCO) is an excellent feedstock for poultry and swine diets. DCO is obtained through the distillation of corn-based bioethanol and contains a rich blend of essential fatty acids, making it a beneficial component for enhancing animal nutrition and overall health. Its inclusion in animal diets can contribute to improved growth, production, and overall well- being while supporting sustainable agricultural practices.
Beyond its use for feed purposes, it can also be used in the production of renewable diesel, biodiesel, inks, paints, primers, soaps, and many other applications that require high-quality, consistent oil sources.
