Thursday, February 23, 2006

Sioux Falls, SD - Pro-Corn, LLC today announced plans to increase its production capacity from 36 to 46 million gallons annually and implement a new energy efficient processing technology developed by the Broin Companies. This new, patent-pending technology, BPX, will reduce energy consumption, improve the corn-to-ethanol conversion rate, improve DDGS quality, and reduce plant emissions.

"We are pleased to be able to increase our capacity, implement the BPX technology, and at the same time improve the environment," said Richard Eichstadt, General Manager of Pro-Corn. "Construction activity could start as early as April and be completed in October with no significant business interruption expected as a result of construction."
