POET Vice Presidents to speak at Fuel Ethanol Workshop

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (June 10, 2008) – Jeff Lautt, POET Executive Vice President of Corporate Operations and Mark Stowers, POET Vice President of Research and Development will speak at the 2008 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo in Nashville, Tenn.

Lautt’s speech titled “Surviving Tough Times” will focus on how technology and innovation are driving down production costs in the ethanol industry. The session on New Technologies that includes Lautt is on Wednesday, June 18 from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m.

Stowers will speak about the Biorefinery of the Future in the Cellulose Biorefining session on Wednesday, June 18 from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. Stowers will also serve as moderator on a panel focusing on cellulose technology components.

The 2008 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo will be held June 16 - 19 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. The general session keynote will be given by Dr. Robert Zubrin, author of Energy Victory.
