POET to discuss green energy, green communication


Schock, Doug Berven to speak at Plain Green event in Sioux Falls

POET will address the future of renewable energy and environmental communications during the The Plain Green Conference and Marketplace taking place this week in Sioux Falls, S.D.

POET Public Relations Director Nathan Schock will speak about “Communicating Green” on Thursday during the morning sessions that begin at 11:20 a.m. That afternoon, POET Director of Corporate Affairs Doug Berven will take part in a panel discussion, “The Future of Renewable Energy,” during sessions beginning at 1:30 p.m. Both events are at the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science.

The Plain Green Conference and Marketplace is a two-day event addressing topics including green design, business and ideas. Besides the POET participants, this year’s event features speakers including Cameron Sinclair, co-founder of Architecture for Humanity; and Mitchell Joachim, co-founder of Terreform ONE and Terrefuge.
