SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (August 2, 2007) – Upon receiving news of the passing of Jeff Fox, Vice President of Legal and Government Affairs for POET, the company issued the following statement from CEO Jeff Broin:

“Jeff Fox was one of the first people that I got to know when I moved to South Dakota 20 years ago. He’s been invaluable to this company, this industry and the state of South Dakota. But more importantly, he was a great friend and a fantastic person. This is a tremendous loss to his family, this community, our company and the ethanol industry as a whole. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.”
