POET launches quarterly ethanol publication

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (July 10, 2008) – In April 2008, POET launched the first issue of Vital, a quarterly publication from the world’s largest producer of ethanol. Originally created to replace over 100 separate newsletters POET distributed every year, Vital is putting a face to the ethanol industry. Throughout 2008, Vital will base its editorial on four main themes: the future of ethanol, com¬munity profiles, industry information and environmental advancements.

The second issue of Vital, mailed on July 7, will be circulated to over 21,000 readers giving it the distinction of being the most widely circulated publication in the industry. The audience includes both those responsible for advancing the industry – investors and government officials - and those most affected by it – grain producers, community members, etc.

The publication is printed on 100 percent recycled paper using eco-friendly soy-based ink. Online, it can be found at http://www.poet.com/vital.
