POET Chief Technology Officer starts work on new products, processes, feedstocks


W. Wade Robey joins POET team to lead research and development

W. Wade Robey, Ph.D has started work as POET’s new Chief Technology Officer, in charge of the company’s research and commercial development activities.

As head of POET Research in Sioux Falls, S.D., Robey oversees the company’s technology development programs including cellulosic ethanol, new products and grain-ethanol process efficiency.

Robey brings to POET more than 20 years’ experience in the biotech, industrial and animal nutrition industries. In his latest role prior to joining POET, Robey worked for enzymes-maker Novozymes as Head of Marketing, Americas.
