Renewable Energy Finance Forum - Wall Street

POET CEO Jeff Broin will discuss challenges, opportunities and strategies for success in the ethanol industry during the 7th Annual Renewable Energy Finance Forum - Wall Street next week in New York.

Broin will join other business and government leaders for the event, dubbed “the meeting place for financiers, investors and renewable energy project developers to network, strike deals and drive forward the future of the industry.”

Broin will speak on Wednesday, June 30 at 1:45 p.m. EST in a session titled “CEO insights.” He will join four other CEOs in the renewable energy sector in addressing questions such as:

• What do you see as the major challenges facing the renewable energy industry at the moment?
• How have you responded to the difficult economic climate over the last 18 months?
• What do you see as the most significant opportunities for renewable energy companies and investors over the next year?

Broin entered the industry 22 years ago when his family purchased their first ethanol plant in Scotland, S.D. Today, POET has 26 plants in seven states across the Midwest and produces 1.6 billion gallons of ethanol per year.
