POET announces new General Managers for three ethanol production facilities


Managers hired for plants in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (October 3, 2007) – POET announced three new general managers to the team. Mark Borer has joined the company as the General Manager for POET Biorefining – Leipsic, Dave Hudak has joined the company as General Manager for POET Biorefining – Alexandria and Dave Gloer has joined the company as General Manager for POET Biorefining – Caro.

Borer comes to POET after 10 plus years with Cummins Filtration. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business and management from University of Maryland and a Master’s degree in business administration from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. POET Biorefining – Leipsic is the 28th constructed by POET. The facility is more than 85 percent complete and is expected to be finished early in the first quarter of 2008.

Hudak brings significant experience in manufacturing to his position with POET. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Heidelberg College and a Master’s degree in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind. The facility, the 29th constructed by POET. The facility is more than 55 percent complete and is expected to be finished in the second quarter of 2008.

Gloer comes to POET with 12 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. Gloer received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a focus on marketing from Central Michigan University and a Master’s degree in business administration with a finance concentration from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. The facility began production in 2002 and has an annual production capacity of 52 mgpy.
