New General Manager starts work at POET Biorefining – Bingham Lake

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Feb. 16, 2009) – POET Biorefining – Bingham Lake, Minn. welcomes a new leader, General Manager Randy Dittmann, to oversee operation of the 35 million-gallon-per-year ethanol production facility.

Dittmann has 23 years of operations management experience, most recently as Production Manager of a newsprint mill with Abitibi Bowater in Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada, the largest newsprint manufacturer in the world.

“I'm thrilled to have joined POET Plant Management as GM at Bingham Lake,” Dittmann said. “The vision of POET and its corporate culture embracing teamwork, attitude and communication has positioned it as the world’s leader in bio-refining.”

Dittmann is a native of Manitowoc, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. He has a wife, Cathy, and two grown children.
