Wednesday, May 9, 2007

James Moe has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO) of POET Design & Construction. Moe, who has served as COO of POET Plant Management since October 2006, will retain that position as well. POET Design & Construction has designed and built 26 POET Biorefining ethanol plants, 20 of which are managed by POET Plant Management.

With his additional duties, Moe is now responsible for executing the operating plans for both business units. He will oversee the construction of new plants as well as the operational optimization of existing facilities.

A graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin, Moe spent 17 years with Johnson Controls prior to joining POET, rising to the position of Vice President - Operations for North America. He brings the extensive experience gained in construction, operations, and management to his new role with POET.

“I am excited about the position POET holds within the industry,” Moe states, “and the role we can play in biorefining over the years to come.”
