Missouri Ethanol, LLC Announces Ground Breaking

Sioux Falls, SD – The Broin Companies are pleased to announce a Ground Breaking ceremony for Missouri Ethanol, LLC to be held November 7, 2005. The program will begin at 1:30 p.m. at Presser Hall, 900 South Jefferson in Mexico, Missouri. Immediately following the program, the actual ground breaking event will be conducted at the plant’s construction site located at 6158 Hwy 54, Laddonia, Missouri. The public is invited to attend both events.

Speakers for the program include Missouri Governor Matt Blunt, Congressman Kenny Hulshof, Derek Coats on behalf of Senator Kit Bond, and Jeff Broin, Broin Companies CEO. Missouri Ethanol will be the third ethanol plant the Broin Companies of Sioux Falls, SD have built in the state of Missouri and the 25th plant built since its inception. Broin Companies is partnering on the project ith East Central Ag Products, a 600-member, farmer-owned coop in the region and North East Missouri Grain, LLC in Macon, Missouri. Site work and construction activities are underway. Plant start-up is projected for late 2006.

Annually, Missouri Ethanol will produce 45 million gallons of ethanol by consuming over 17 million bushels of corn from the regional area. The plant will employ approximately 40 people, most from the local area. Missouri Ethanol will also help improve the local corn basis while providing an environmentally friendly fuel and premium Dakota Gold Enhanced Nutrition Distillers Products™ for regional, national and international markets.
