Illinois Man Winner of POET Online Indy 500 Sweepstakes

Tuesday, May 8, 2007

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Wes Bolsen of Bolingbrook, Ill., has won the POET online Indy 500 Sweepstakes. As the winner, Bolsen will receive air travel for two to Indianapolis, three nights lodging, and a VIP pass to one of racing’s great events held this year on May 27. In addition to enjoying great hospitality, the VIP pass will enable Bolsen to enjoy a behind-the-scenes transporter tour and attend an exclusive meet and greet with Team Ethanol driver Jeff Simmons.

News about the biorefining company’s name change from Broin to POET caused Bolsen to investigate the POET Web site, poetenergy.com, where he discovered the sweepstakes. “I don’t usually enter those online contests, but fortunately this one caught my interest,” Bolsen explains. “I am really excited about winning the sweepstakes and getting to attend my first Indy 500. It will be a great experience. I also hope I have a chance to meet Jeff Broin and some of the other members of the POET team.”
