In the last decade, ethanol burst onto the energy scene and now plays an important role in America’s economy, environment and national security. The industry is at a crucial juncture, and smart policy decisions today can secure the country’s renewable energy future.

POET CEO Jeff Broin will discuss this issue with other energy experts as part of a panel discussion at the ACORE Phase II Renewable Energy in America National Policy Forum Dec. 8-9 in Washington, D.C.

Broin will join Ethan Zindler with Bloomberg New Energy Finance and Jon Wellinghoff, Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in a session titled “The State of Renewable Energy in America” on Thursday, Dec. 9 at 9:45 a.m. in the Cannon Caucus Room at the Cannon House Office Building. The session chair is Roger Ballentine, President, Green Strategies, Inc.
