POET INVIZ™ zein is a non-toxic, edible protein. INVIZ zein is extracted from POET's Dakota Gold® HP™ distillers grains making INVIZ a natural product.

INVIZ is extracted from our residual corn solids and can be used as a bio-based alternative to petroleum based films, packaging, adhesives, coatings and glazes. INVIZ has a number of unique characteristics including grease resistance, water vapor and oxygen barriers, non-stick properties and microbial resistance. It is also biodegradable and non-allergenic.
