POET Biorefining, located near Emmetsburg, Iowa, will consume approximately 19 million bushels of locally-grown corn and produce 55 million gallons of ethanol annually. POET Biorefining-Emmetsburg is the 20th ethanol plant built by POET Design & Construction and the 14th plant to be managed by POET, who began building ethanol plants in the 1980s.
POET Biorefining - Emmetsburg provides not only an environmentally-friendly fuel, but also a premium, high-quality Dakota Gold® brand livestock feed for local, regional and national markets.
